Valuation Coverage Terms and Agreement
Playhouse Moving LLC offers three levels of valuation coverage for your move. By selecting one of the following options, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below:
1. Basic Coverage - Free
Includes limited liability coverage as required by law (typically $0.60 per pound per item). This option provides minimal protection and is included at no additional cost.
2. Partial Coverage - $75 (Nonrefundable)
Offers increased protection beyond the basic coverage. This option covers a portion of the item's value based on weight or declared value, as specified in our valuation policy.
3. Full Coverage - $250 (Nonrefundable)
Provides comprehensive protection for your items during the move. This includes repair, replacement, or cash settlement based on the current market value of the item.
Important Terms:
- All coverage fees are nonrefundable and must be paid in full prior to the start of the move.
- Failure to select and pay for a coverage option before the move begins will result in defaulting to Basic Coverage.
- Valuation coverage is not insurance but a mover's contractual liability for your belongings during the move.
- Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move date.
